My White Sox Season (Update #1)

Hey guys. This is going to be my first blog i write on here. I will be doing it about my White Sox season that i just started. I will not be trading away any of my players. I will stay with what i have. The only real trade I have made is for Francisco Liriano. (White Sox traded for him at the deadline)

The first series i played the Texas Rangers. I took 1/3 with them. But i was pretty happy with the way my team played. I had great pitching and solid offense. Bullpen could be a little better though.

Anyways the first game i lost 4-3 but Chris Sale pitched a great game. He went 7 innings 6 hits, 2 ER, and he had 9 SO. I was losing 3-1 going into the Top of the 9th inning. Konerko was the first man up that inning for me and he hits a Solo shot to make the score 3-2. Alex Rios was the next man up and he also hits a Solo Homer to tie the game up. I would end up losing in the Bottom of the 10th on a walk off single. But i was still happy the way my team played.

The 2nd game of the series was all mine. Jake Peavy pitched a solid game for me going 6 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, and had 5 SO. My offense was the big story of this game scoring 11 runs. I had 2 in the first. Then added another 3 in the 2 inning. My leadoff man De Aza had a 3 run shot for me. Paul Konerko hit 2 Home Runs for me. Rios also added his 3rd Homer of the year too.

And finally the 3rd game of the Texas series. I had a chance to win this game. 7 hits as a team, but i grounded into 4 double plays. Quintana pitched a solid game for me along with the other starters. He went 6 innings, 2 hits, 0 ER, and had 4 SO. Texas scored late with 2 runs in the 8th inning and that was all they needed. A 2-0 noting win. But i was happy with the way my starters has been pitching.

I played the first of a 3 game set with the Indians. And this game was all me. 6-0 win. Liriano was on the hill for me today and he also had a solid outing. He went 6 innings, 2 hits, 0 ER, and had 5 SO. Rios had a huge day with another Homer! Hes batting .529 with 4 Homers and 7 RBI in his first 4 games. Adam Dunn hit his First Bomb of the year. Paul Konerko added another RBI. He has 5 on the year now.

So far my starters have been great. Offense has been hitting. Bullpen is doing pretty good so far. (Besides giving up 2 runs late in the last game against Texas.) But other then that i'm happy the way we are playing.
